Theory
Test
The
Theory Test consists of 50 multiple-choice questions similar
to the examples available here.
Each question requires you to select one or more answers from a
list of possible answers and is carried out on a computer with a
touch screen. Do not worry; you don’t have to be
familiar with computers to do this test! A score of 43 out of 50
is required to pass.
The
Hazard Perception Test consists of 14 one minute video
clips, that contain various motoring hazards. One clip contains
2 developing hazards and the others contain one. Points
are scored depending on how quickly the developing hazards is
spotted. Five points are scored for spotting the hazard straight
away, and 0 points for spotting it late or not at all. The test
is carried out on a computer. A score of 44 out of 75 is
required to pass.
The
result is available within a few minutes of completing both
sections.
