Practical
Test
The
Practical Driving Test is a test of driving ability, and
lasts about 40 minutes. Up to fifteen minor faults are
allowed; such as not making proper use of the indicators or
failing to check mirrors. An examiner, not your
instructor, conducts this test and you are allowed to have
someone with you, such as an interpreter. The test includes a Show
Me-Tell Me section to assess basic understanding of car
safety. During the
test 2 manoeuvres are examined, such as reverse parking or a
“three point turn”, and possibly an “Emergency Stop”.
The result is given upon completion of the test.
